We have partnered with a Malta-based Product Company looking to expand their Product Team. They own an iGaming platform that a lot of users interact with in the day-to-day worldwide. They have a global team and are currently interested in hiring someone based in Malta or open to self-relocating there.
Our Proposal:
We're excited to offer a tech internship opportunity for a motivated and technically inclined individual to join our team as a Tech Intern. This role presents a unique chance to engage in managing and enforcing tech policies, contributing to the resolution of technical issues, and gaining hands-on experience in software and device management, operating systems, scripting/programming languages, cloud computing platforms, and cybersecurity principles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in utilizing software and device management tools to optimize company-wide systems.
- Learn and support troubleshooting of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) as required.
- Aid in the implementation of scripting/programming languages for process automation and system efficiency.
- Support engagement with cloud computing platforms to ensure alignment with company needs.
- Contribute to applying basic cybersecurity principles to maintain the security posture of company systems.
Policy Management:
- Learn to assist in updating and maintaining current company tech policies, aligning them with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support in monitoring and ensuring employees' compliance with established tech policies.
- Collaborate with team members to refine and implement new policies as needed.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Learn and shadow experienced professionals in troubleshooting technical issues and contributing to prompt resolutions.
- Provide support to employees encountering technical challenges under supervision.
Must-have Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a technical role, emphasizing policy management and technical issue resolution.
- Basic understanding or coursework in software and device management tools.
- Familiarity or coursework involving scripting/programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Interest in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and troubleshooting skills.
- Curiosity about cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong willingness to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and collaborate within a team.
Nice-to-have Requirements:
- Prior exposure or interest in the iGaming Industry.
- Familiarity with coursework involving tools like Google Analytics.
