 About the role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. You’ll play a key role in designing systems that are reliable by default, automated end-to-end, and trusted by engineering teams.

This is a hands-on role for someone who treats infrastructure as code, reliability as a feature, and automation as standard practice.

What You’ll Do

Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS and GCP

• Architect multi-cloud solutions with unified networking, observability, and cost strategies

• Own production environments, ensuring high availability and resilience

Kubernetes & Platform Engineering

• Manage full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or self-managed)

• Design and operate workloads using Deployments, StatefulSets, Jobs, etc.

• Implement autoscaling, high availability, and zero-downtime deployments

• Work with Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)

Infrastructure as Code

• Build and maintain scalable IaC using Terraform (expert level)

• Develop reusable modules and manage environments at scale

• Work with tools like Pulumi, CDK, and Ansible where applicable

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI)

• Implement advanced deployment strategies (canary, blue/green, feature flags)

• Automate everything—from provisioning to deployments to operations

Observability & Reliability

• Build full-stack observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)

• Define and track SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets

• Lead incident response and postmortems

• Plan capacity based on growth and cost constraints

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management)

• Support compliance frameworks like SOC2 and ISO 27001

• Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines

Cost & Operational Excellence

• Apply FinOps practices (cost optimization, tagging, reporting)

• Maintain clear documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams)

• Collaborate across engineering, product, and security teams

AI & Efficiency

• Use AI tools to accelerate IaC, automation, and documentation

• Critically review AI-generated outputs for security and correctness

  What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 6–10 years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or similar roles

• Experience managing production systems at scale

Core Skills

• Strong experience with AWS and working knowledge of GCP

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, GKE)

• Hands-on with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines

• Comfortable with Bash or Python scripting

• Advaced English

DevOps & Operations

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and handle production incidents

• Understanding of system reliability and scalability

Security & Best Practices

• Basic knowledge of cloud security and IAM

• Experience managing secrets and secure configurations

• Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC2, ISO) is a plus

• Requirements (list the technologies or minimum requirements)

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-cloud environments

• Familiarity with GitOps or service mesh tools

• Interest in using AI tools to improve workflows
